The Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts opened its doors in 1988. Since that time, it has had a profound impact on the cultural and artistic landscape of Brevard County and Central Florida.

The King Center presents live theatre productions, Broadway shows, concert events and arts and enterntainment for the entire family. An organization of Eastern Florida State College, they also feature arts education, and Children's Theatre for Youth and Outreach.
