Come and watch the Cocoa Beach Surfing Santas as they Ho..Ho..Hang Ten!

For the past nine years, before Santa delivers toys and gifts, he’s been breaking away to catch some waves in Cocoa Beach on Christmas Eve morning. Pretty cool, right? A Christmas Eve morning spectacle that has grabbed international attention, hundreds of “Surfing Santas” will set out on the beach at about 8 a.m. to hit the waves off downtown Cocoa Beach, where there is space to park cars — even sleighs. Watch them ride the waves and kick off your holiday weekend beachside at this FREE event.

Now in its third year, the crowd can participate in a costume contest. Dress up in your favorite winter themed outfit – snowman, Santa and Mrs. Claus, gingerbread man, reindeer, elves – for your chance to win prizes. This year there will be five categories – babies (0-3), kids (4-15), group (2 people or more), men (16+), and women (16+).
