Founded on June 5, 1925, by visionary Gus Edwards, Cocoa Beach has grown from a quiet beachside town into an iconic community shaped by history, innovation, arts, culture and a love for the sea. The 1960s Space Race launched Cocoa Beach onto the global stage, becoming a home and playground for astronauts and dreamers alike. From legendary surfers riding our waves to Jeannie’s magical adventures, our shores have been the backdrop for countless stories.

Join us in downtown Cocoa Beach as we celebrate our 100 year anniversary. Special Events happening throughout the weekend including a pickleball tournament, open swim, golf cart parade, and a “Party in the Park” featuring a breathtaking Drone Light Show finale.
