Just inside the Ron Jon Watersports Center is the East Coast’s premiere surf museum. Since 1999 the Florida Surf Museum (formerly the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum) has been collecting and exhibiting some of the best surf history from around the world.The exhibit space is rich with surf history. It includes Hall of Famers, big wave pioneers, surf music, information on huge collections of exceptional and rare boards, "Women of the Waves" and insider information on the world’s best surfer, 11-time world champion and Cocoa Beach local, Kelly Slater.
